Often I have been accused of being anti-cardio, so I want to take some time to discuss cardio training.Hopefully, you’ll will think differently and try some new things after reading this article. These are some ways how to lose weight fast without traditional cardio.

We need to discuss whether cardio training is really necessary to be lean and in good shape. You come to see that I am not against cardio as long as it’s done properly and has its proper place.

Most people who are into fitness believe that cardio is essential to accomplishing fitness and weight goals. The reality is, that most people will not even question that. Here, I will not only question it, but I will refute it.

The people I have known that are in the best shape don’t do any traditional cardio. While there might be some room for some low-level cardio for people who are really out of shape and overweight, there are even better approaches for them. One thing is that they should also get healthy foods to eat.

Many people think that cardio as endless bouts with the exercise bike or treadmill. This is what I call the traditional form of cardio that really does not produce results.

Looking at it a different way, cardio is really anything that boosts your cardiovascular health.

If it gets your heart rate up and you’re out of breath, then it’s cardio, even if it involves weight training. Take a barbell exercise where you lift it off the floor to your shoulders bent over your head. By the way you ladies should listen to this as well because barbell exercises are not just for men: they can help you to even if the weight is lighter.

Anyhow, this type of exercise is frequently looked at as if it were strength training. The truth is that after you’ve done about 15 of these repetitions, your heart rate will be up around 90% and you’ll be breathing like you just ran a sprint. Then try to do the same thing with one arm swings or snatches with a dumbbell, then tell me your heart is not racing and you’re not out of breath.

So you can say that you are conditioning your heart with this type of training even though people will traditionally say that you are doing strength exercises. This not only saves you workout time, but it strengthens your entire body if you do them with intensity. Truthfully you are not concentrating on what you’re doing enough if you can watch TV or read a book while you’re working out; also you probably won’t get any results.I am challenging you to pick up some weights and workout your entire body for a couple months while putting your traditional cardio on hold.

It won’t take long for you to see how that you are losing weight and developing your six pack while losing belly fat.
