For those who are getting sick of having love handles, here’s how you can get rid of them!
Controlling what you eat. No matter how much you hate the sound of it, that’s the truth. Basically, everything hinges on your daily food consumption. In my experience it’s about 80 percent diet and 20 percent exercise.
Getting your eating program up to par is critical to get rid of love handles then you’ve mastered the hardest part.Working out is the easy part, controlling your eating habits is where it’s going to take discipline.
If you pay close attention to the healthy foods you DO eat, while staying off fast food, then getting rid of love handles isn’t as hard as people claim.
Now let’s look at some exercises to get rid of love handles.
1. Cardio exercises. You should be able to perform cardio exercises at least three times per week. By doing this, you’ll notice that a considerable amount of fat is lost and you don’t even know it.
2. Gym exercises. To lose any remaining love handles, a proper diet should be followed as well as gym exercises.
There are basically two types of exercises you want to focus on when you’re looking to lose your love handles. I’ve talked about them in other articles.
The moment you lose all the extra fat from your abdominal area, then you’ll start losing the fat in your thighs. You definitely get more than you expected!
Side Bends:
Stand with your knees slightly bent and feet about shoulder width apart. Next, bend towards one side, allowing your body to move as far as it can go. This exercise may also be done with weights. This exercise focuses on the body part that ultimately becomes the love handles. It also brings more blood to that area which helps with circulation and oxygen. Also it’s great because this exercise elongates and stretches out your love handle area. Hence, you’ll find that this love handle exercise is an excellent addition to your routine.

Torso Twist Routines:
The torso twist is a variation of a side bend wherein you “twist” rather than bend your body from one side to another. Personally, I incorporate a bar or a stick in the exercise, placing it behind my head to get a good twist.
